Did you know that you can create a template from any page of your website using DirecTREE?
Simply select the page that you would like to use for the template and make a copy of it.  Then, simply move the copied page into the templates folder and rename it as a .tpl file.  Now when creating a new page, your new template will show up as a selectable template.
